Kobe Bryant And Daughter Gianna Maria Onore Bryant Killed In California Helicopter Crash

Good morning everyone, I am Shubham Modak. Right now so much of the world is just in shock and disbelief, trying to process what happened today, make some sense of this gigantic loss. Though we know right now, it's been several hours, it's stunning to say the world that Kobe Bryant, the legendary NBA star is dead today. His adorable 13 year old daughter Gianna, also died today. 7 other peoples, a baseball coach, a pilot all dead today. The helicopter they were travelling in crashed outside of Los Angeles, no word yet on why it crashed, but it went down and caught fire on a hillside in Calabasas, California about 30 miles outside of Los Angeles. Everyone on the board on the way to youth basketball game at the Mamba sports academy. That is the training institute opened by Kobe Bryant for young athletes. It opened just a year ago.

In STAPLES centre in Los Angeles, people have been gathering there all afternoon, just not wanting to stay home. They are paying tribute and they are being with other fans of Kobe Bryant at the place where he played most of his home games in 20 years. People are sharing memories and heartfelt personal reflections about Kobe Bryant are flooding social media right now.
