Chinese Coronavirus Breaches 1000 Fatalities ; Pakistan Denied To Evacuate Citezens

China's coronavirus continues to spread. Authorities said the outbreak could peak in 10 days. There have now been in a more than 1000 confirmed deaths its close to 42,600 cases and 16 countries outside China have confirmed cases. The number of cases have spiked over the past two weeks and the city of Wuhan have continues to the centre of the outbreak. The authorities are telling not to travel anywhere. The road in the cities of Wuhan and Hubei are deserted because people have not only told not to leave their cities but also to live in homes. In Wuhan two new hospitals are building only for coronavirus patients. The first have over thousands beds and totally finished within a week. Currently everyone is in queue in Wuhan. Everybody is wearing a face masks and medical staff wearing full body shields. In Hong Kong people are in queue for buying face masks for large amount of time due to shortage of masks.


The Chinese authority say that, "we are now in a critical period of prevention of this epidemic. We need to control the potential thought of the virus".

Dr Michael Ryan, executive director from World health organisation says that "The whole world needs to be on alert now. the whole world needs to take action and be ready for any case that come either from regional epicenter of from other epicenters that become established".

So the virus continues to spread, but there has been a breakthrough. scientists in Australia have recreated this new  coronavirus and that may help first to diagnose and treat it.

For hundreds of British citizens who have flown back to UK from Wuhan, this is a tweet coming from British health services,

Some other countries have also evacuated their citizens like Japan. 200 Japanese citizens were evacuated from Wuhan to Tokyo and there are routine checks being carried out on board and airport but no mandatory Quarantine is planned there.

Over 200 Americans including diplomates and their families were evacuated from Wuhan and they have traveled to California where the Quarantine have been arranged at an air reserve base.



The general advice for Americans willing to travel to China is they currently have imposed level 3 which means people should not travel, there is advised not to travel unless the travel is essential. There is one level high that is level 4 which means just don't go or we are not in that stage or moment. I think that the message here from public health officials to not be alarmed. They have been very clear about what happening in China is not what happening there in United States. There are currently 13 confirmed cases of coronavirus in United States.

So the main message in the moment in United States is that do not travel to China unless you have to. Don't be alarmed unless you come in prolonged contact by more than 10 minutes in direct contact with confirmed case otherwise people should remain calm.

Meanwhile, British Airways suspended all direct flights from mainland China that follows United airlines already reduced its travel. The UK Government and health officials organised a corporate meeting to discuss the virus. This is an emergency meeting when a national crisis arises in UK. This time the meeting follows the UK foreign office telling Britain to cancel all travel to China.

Christmas Island Detention Centre

This detention centre Christmas Island is going to be the Quarantine zone and upon hearing that many have raised the question of that why is 600 Australians including a 100 children's travelled with their family to celebrate the lunar year instead of being brought in hospitals, why they are being brought to Christmas Island, about 2000 kilometres from the mainland and it's actually close to Indonesia that it is to Australian mainland.


An Air India aircraft departed from national capital New Delhi at 12:30 p.m. on 31st of January and evacuated Indian national from Wuhan in China which is the epicenter of coronavirus outbreak.


The aircraft evacuated around 330 passengers and most likely the passengers who don't show any symptoms of cough, cold or fever were only be permitted to board the aircraft. They were brought to Delhi and immediately quarantined and checked for all the symptoms of virus. They were through doctors on board and always crew wearing masks and globes and also there is minimal contact with the passengers. Food is placed on every seat so that there was minimal contact between passenger and crew.

Air India Aircraft Evacuating Citezens

Reportedly Pakistan's shocking reactions are coming in terms of evacuating it's citizens from Wuhan. Inside the city of Wuhan the streets are unusually quiet. Kamran Khan a Pakistani student have confirmed that they are briefly left by food and like many others stuck in the city under lockdown.

Pakistan has announced that the health risks are too high in evacuating any of its citizens. Across the borders in Pakistan families are being anxious and curious to know the current health condition and situation of their loved one and family members in Wuhan. Four Pakistani students studying in Wuhan are being infected by the virus. The city is an education hub with more than 30 colleges and universities hosting students around the world.

The Pakistani official said the Quarantine regulations prevented from evacuating more than 500 of its citizens there that in contrast to other countries including India and Bangladesh which already brought their citizens home.


Pakistani health minister Zafar Ullah Mirza said,  "our loved ones who are in China at the moment, we are not going to evacuate them and it's better for them and for the larger interest of the region. This is what WHO is advising.


For more than 50 million people locked in and around Wuhan it is an uncertain feature with the world waiting to see if the virus can be contained.
